What one doesn't understand, one doesn't possess.

In the Footsteps of Jack Kerouac on Matterhorn Peak, by Thomas Becker    about me
And that's my Karma. I'm not the kind of guy who comes and sees and conquers. I learn slowly, and when I try something, I usually start out looking rather pathetic. And yes, all my life, there have been people who have ridiculed me or tried to put me down because of that. But I have always suspected and now know for sure that these are not the people to whom any attention should be paid at all. I know what I can do, and when I know that I can do something, I don't give up. I pursue with patience and perseverance. And I also know that in the end, patience and perseverance are not quite enough. There comes a point when you have to throw caution to the wind, be it the proverbial one or the one that howls over the High Sierra in the fall, and then you just do it, just go and do it, and know that everything will be fine because everything is the way it is.
When you reach the top of the mountain, keep climbing.
